This alternate site maintains the infrastructure components necessary to minimize the time required to resume core operations.

We understand that time is money, and the ability to rapidly recover use of your talent development applications is critical to the functionality of your core business and the productivity of your workforce.

Our new Disaster Recovery Services begin with a standard level and advance through three tiers designed to accommodate your specific business requirements. Service features include:

  • Standard Service: As part of our commitment to all hosted and OnDemand customers, we will make every effort to resume full operating capacity of all talent development systems within two weeks of a disaster. We use tape backups for recovery, which are archived weekly. However, we do not replicate data to our alternate site, and the actual servers needed for your services would be acquired as part of the recovery process.

  • Silver Services:Concerned about losing your work? Weekly tape archives, while adequate for some businesses, can leave up to a week’s worth of data vulnerable to loss in the event of disaster. Our Silver service level offers you more substantial preservation of your valuable employee activity data. Building from our standard service, this tier steps you up to continuous replication of your data to our alternate site, reducing the potential for data loss down to minutes instead of days.

  • Gold Services: Need more protection? Our Gold level ensures the same minimal data loss of our Silver tier, while adding faster recovery of your services. We’ll install additional servers at our alternate data center and keep them up-to-date with changes, so they can quickly take over your production systems should you experience an extended interruption of services at our primary facility.

  • Platinum Services: When nothing less than 100 percent ensured data availability will do, this premium service tier provides all the advantages of our Gold level, while also ensuring performance equal to your current production environment from the first day of recovery—as well as maintenance of a staging environment.
